This Australian financial organisation om the Asset Finance sector is going through rapid change in Australia leading to new opportunities in the organisation. Reporting to the COO you will be part of a dynamic team of like minded professionals. This role has plenty of scope for growth and development, with the ability to launch your Operations career from a solid platform of Operations Management within the lucrative Asset Finance sector.
This role will support the business by driving and leading an Operations team in the area of Customer Service, credit analysis and settlements. You will also have the opportunity to get involved in key decisions internally applicable to the post settlement process for Australian customers
- Managing and lead a team in Melbourne and achieve the goals of the Operations group
- Ensure the delivery of best in class customer service delivery
- Manage risk through ensuring compliance to policies and meet guidelines of privacy and consumer credit legislation
- Build and maintain relationships with customers, introducers and suppliers
- Support additional deliverables including projects as requested by the COO
Key to this role will be your ability to work in an Asset Finance Operations environment, work closely with key stakeholders internally and externally. This is an opportunity to use your solid customer service operational background and take your skills to the next level in a dynamic commercial environment. Will look at candidates from the retail Banking/ non-bank Mortgages or Asset Finance operators and outsourced mortgage/Asset Finance operations providers.
A background in Auto or Equipment Financing is highly desirable
The successful candidate will have 7+ years management experience gained internationally or locally. Ideally you will have gained your technical experience in a similar environment as listed with strong commercial experience from industry in particularly Asset Finance. You will also have excellent written and communication skills, be able to work under your own initiative and are results driven. Strong customer service background is a must.
