The role
Reporting to the CEO, this Chief Credit Risk Officer role will see you joining a dynamic team of like minded professionals. This position has plenty of scope for growth and development, with the ability to launch your leadership career from a solid platform of Credit and Risk Management within the lucrative commercial sector. Managing the innovation strategy, you will work with key stakeholders to succeed in effective risk management. Driving and leading a team of Credit Analysts in the commercial SME sector for Australian customers through innovation.

Responsibilities include:

  • Management, leadership and team development of the current credit team of credit assessors
  • Analysis of underwriting and reviewing structures
  • Monitor and evaluate work quality efficiency and productivity to ensure optimal lending activities and decisions are in line with DLA’s
  • Lead and manage the assessment of loan applications reviewing loan docs and credit proposals
  • Project involvement working closely with the CEO and leadership team
  • Providing leadership and direction of the credit team and providing feedback and insights

  
About you
Key to this role will be your ability to manage a credit function in a hands on environment, work closely with key stakeholders internally and externally. This is an opportunity to use your solid credit & risk management background and take your skills to the next level in a dynamic commercial environment. Will look at experienced candidates from other Financial Services operators in the commercial SME sector preferably commercial non bank lenders and Financial Banking Institutions

Theuccesssful candidate will have 8-10+ years management experience. Ideally you will have gained your technical experience in a similar environment as listed with strong commercial experience from industry in particularly commercial products or similar. You will also have excellent written and communication skills, be able to work under your own initiative and are results driven. Strong customer service background is a must.
You will also have an authority level sign off of over $5M
