About the Role
As the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for leading an established team, working closely with three direct reports to oversee their performance. This is a varied role that is versatile and encompasses the following key activities, branch operations, finance overview, and liaising with external stakeholders.
  
Key Responsibilities

  • Daily scheduling and communication with staff
  • Oversee production, stock control, ordering, and inventory
  • Oversee delivery vehicles’ conditions and maintenance
  • Conduct monthly team meetings with staff
  • Identify and recommend improvements in the distribution channels
  • Demonstrate leadership in OH&S and maintenance
  • Financial management including budgeting, cost control, and invoicing
  • Provide an effective employee performance environment and conduct annual performance reviews
  • Ensure customer service requirements are met and communicate

About you
To excel in this position, you have experience in manufacturing or production logistics. Knowledge and exposure to rotary mounding or plastics is desirable but not essential. You must have recent experience managing people and leading a team, while being able to think creatively and work under pressure. Additionally, can demonstrate experience in understanding business financials such as profit and loss and budgeting. A strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office is essential.
